The R360 Coupe marked Mazda's (then called Toyo Kogyo Co.) initial foray into the passenger car market. Costing only 300.000 Yen, it was an affordable car for average people.

The B360 was launched to take over demand for light weight trucks from the three-wheelers. It was loaded with features carried over from passenger cars, including its four stroke engine.

The Carol was powered by a water-cooled four-cilinder engine, witch was fairly luxurious for a compact passenger vehicle at that time. Its "cliff cut" rear-end design meant passengers in the back were afforded plenty room.

The most powerful of all Mazda's three-wheeled trucks, the T2000 boasted 81PS. Its long cargo bed rivaled mid-size trucks and it was highly prized by lumber transport compagnies.
